Walnut Cone Linen Table Lamp Marvena

A tapered cone of walnut wood under a natural linen shade, 30cm tall. Switched off it is a quiet wooden object on a shelf; switched on, the linen glows softly and the walnut takes on a deep red-brown.

Mid-Century Warmth for a Bedside or a Desk

The cone base is the whole point: solid, heavy enough not to tip, and tapered so it takes up less room on a bedside table than a conventional round lamp. The linen shade diffuses the bulb into a warm, even glow with no hotspot, and the touch switch on the base cycles through three colour temperatures, from a whiter light for reading to a warm evening tone. It suits bedsides, a desk in a study, a hall console or a living room side table, and it sits comfortably beside timber furniture, rattan, books and pale walls. The E27 bulb is included.
