The reason most walls have no light on them is the wiring. This rechargeable wall light removes that problem entirely: a battery inside, a magnetic plate on the wall, and nothing else.

A Wall Light Where There Is No Wiring

The body is a slim rectangle, 16 cm wide and only 3 cm deep, so it sits almost flush and reads as a line rather than a fitting. It throws light in two directions at once, softly up and softly down the wall, which is what makes it work beside a bed or in a hallway where a downward beam would be harsh. Installation is a magnetic plate on an adhesive pad: no drilling, no electrician, no socket nearby, and a few minutes of your time. The 5200 mAh battery runs it for weeks of normal evening use, and when it drops the light lifts off its plate in seconds and charges over USB-C before snapping back. Touch the front to switch it, hold to dim. Four finishes let it either disappear into a plastered wall or sit quietly against it.
